1. Make the most of natural light. Turn on the light only when you need it.
  2. Use low energy light bulbs, It is a good way to take care of the planet and your pocket.
  3. Avoid using batteries as much as possible. If you have to use them, choose rechargeable batteries.
  4. Iron as many clothes in one go so you take advantage of the heat accumulated on the iron and start doing it for clothes that need less heat.
  5. Use your car only when necessary. It is better to choose public transport or you could also organise with your friends or office colleagues to travel together in a single car.
  6. I prefer foods that have recyclable packaging as a way to help consume fewer natural resources.
  7. When you go to the supermarket or buy something, don’t forget to take your recyclable bag. Don’t ask for plastic bags!! And if you do, reuse it many times. 🙂
  8. If you have a dishwasher or washing machine in your house. Turn it on only when you have the full load because both consume a lot of energy and especially water.
  9. While brushing your teeth, don’t leave the tap running because you will be wasting a lot of water.
